We’re all human, Karen. Being certified as a personal trainer didn’t render me immune to these cravings either (as much as I wish it would have). If you’re anything like me, then you’ll find that these cravings tend to be strongest when you’re tired, stressed or anxious. But honestly, any unpleasant emotion can easily be a trigger.

By the way, ‘ARRGH!!’ is an expression my dad and Patty both use a lot. The personality traits we share in common with our aunts, uncles and cousins is downright eerie, even when we grow up hundreds of miles apart. I found that to be true of Aunt Alice and April as well. 🙂

I haven’t really gotten to know many of our relatives well, but I don’t doubt that we do have similar traits. I think, regardless of personal knowledge, we all have things that run in the family. I’d like to know more but failing that, I blame heritage for my faults! LOL! “I’m stubborn because I’m Irish!” “I can’t strictly adhere to a diet, it’s not in my genetic makeup!” Haha! But I think there’s hope… I think…. If I fall off the wagon for awhile, I still dust myself off and get back on the diet-go-’round! 😀
